ABOUT TIFFANY

Hi there, I’m Tiffany Ruiz :)

I’m a Brooklyn + Hudson Valley based Wedding Planner/Day Of Coordinator!

With over 8 years experience in the events world, I’ve worked film festivals, catered events, donation auction drives, bookstore author events and even curated my own monthly events (a really fun dinner and a movie installment that ended due to covid). The end of Film + Feast eventually led to my curiosity and the implementation of Starr Weddings. As of Winter 2022, we have been an established wedding coordination business for two years and having done over a dozen of weddings through out Brooklyn alone.

Growing up in both Brooklyn, NY and the Hudson Valley allows me the flexibility of servicing both locations. I know both areas extremely well and have a deep love for both.

On a personal note, I currently reside in Brooklyn, NY (Bushwick) with my fiancé, Keem, and our sweet but mischievous cat Luna. Akeem and I married in the summer of 2023 after 10 years together <3

I LOVE WEDDING PLANNING. I have a strong love for both organization and creativity. Workflows, spreadsheet and project management is my jam - adding in an the element of decor is the icing on the cake for me. These two passions collectively push me to do what I feel I’m best at - create and manage the perfect wedding day for my couples <3

STYLE + DEISGN

I would describe my wedding style as Romantic, Minimalist, Modern and non-traditional. If you’re a ballroom couple, we might not be the best fit if you’re looking for someone to rely on in the design department.
